Decided to bring this cutie back from the stash. Anyway Sonya is part sunflower and part chomper. She can heal her friends, gobble down or gun down zombies, she's very kind and sweet, and she likes to eat...a lotPVZ popcap

These are sun pulse rounds :3 . Sonya has the properties of both chomper and sunflower.

I'm well aware of the latter - the picture itself makes the point clear. The Sun Pulse rounds just looked like big seeds or whatever to me.
How was she created? An experiment of a Sunflower seed with Chomper DNA? I like to imagine the plant army occasionally do experiments to create powerful weapons and new plant types, whether they be technology (hence Sunther's cybernetics due to being mutilated a few times by zombies in the zombie war) or new//hybrid plant types.
I take it Sonya can shoot goop as well to slow down zombies? And use the burrow ability? Not sure about the latter, but she is a hybrid after all.

A lil' trivia: Sunther isn't in Sergeant rank anymore - he's of a higher rank now (haven't thought of it yet). But some friends and lower-ranked plants sometimes call him Sarge, despite his higher rank.
