Belle knew it was midnight and knew it was wolfstime and knew it was pouring outside and she most certainly knew what people would say--what they'd think this meant--and despite all this she also knew that paws couldn't hold umbrellas and, most of all, knew she simply couldn't stand the thought of a lonesome wet wolf wandering the streets of Storybrooke in the rain.~~~
Just a quick little speed paint because I couldn't get this image out of my head. I used a soft brush for the entire thing, which I now see was a mistake as pretty much the whole thing ended up a little blurry. Oh well, live and learn (and ship Red Beauty).

Thank you! That's certainly useful feedback. I think maybe I got away with the soft brush because the raininess of the scene lends to it being a bit blurrier than usual, but you certainly could be right about it adding a sense of 'intrigue' as well.
