Ringo is a laid back soul, always has been from the time he was young. He prefers being alone with his flowers or maybe a nice book by the fire and a nice hot cup of tea to relax his mind. This carefree demeanor can often times get him in trouble, however, as he can often times appear disconnected or even uncaring to an urgent situation. He is great under pressure, but often struggles with decision making, or, rather, he puts off making a decision until he can no longer do so, and chooses something quickly without much thought. He’s also impulsive, spending his money shortly after earning it on whatever he can reasonably argue was absolutely a necessary purchase at the time. He is also rather nurturing, with any living creature, plants, animals, or villagers. He can easily be roped into taking care of some injured bird or frog or whatever else comes across his path. He also loves kids, this can be seen most present around his unrelated niece, Daisy, the daughter of his childhood best friend, Donnie, who he adores like nothing else, but it can also be seen with others as well. However, it is most obvious with his plants. He spends hours and hours each day tending to each and every one of them, ensuring they have the best care available to them at any given time. When it comes to his own needs, though, they are often thrown to the wayside to care for those around him. He may devote a day to his plants, or helping someone run errands, and then forget to eat, or even stop to rest. When he sets his mind to it, nothing and almost no one can stop him from accomplishing it (except his own procrastination and insecurities).
History:
Ringo grew up in a small, rural town out in the country. Rolling corn fields and dull old barns were all he had known for many years, and he didn’t quite mind it. He was raised tending the fields with his family, and it was instilled in him from a young age that plants, like people, needed delicate care to grow and flourish. Having taken this to heart, he spent many, many hours scouring every book he could find on plant life and plant care. He liked to think it made him a more empathetic person, among other things, but what it also accomplished, was spark a curiosity for much more than just the same old crops they grew every year. He wanted to do more, raise more, start something with his own bare hands that was bigger than himself. He wanted to work with flowers.

His childhood friend, Donnie, had just gotten out of a messy marriage and an even messier divorce, and mentioned he wanted to get away from this old town, and Ringo agreed. Of course, he wanted to get away for his own reasons, the happiness and health of his friend was more important to him. And he would follow his friend and the little girl who had quickly stolen his heart to the ends of the Earth if he must. To him, they were his family, and he believed that family had to stick together. So they all packed up their bags and decided to head off to something they knew nothing about. A bigger city, new faces, Ringo found a little flower shop that was hiring, Donnie got a job as a security guard, and Daisy had been enrolled into the closest public school, and they all headed off to their new future together.
