The Cleansing Storm
A hurricane sweeps the Domain, causing mass floods, destruction, and displacement-- and Iscariot is the only one who knows that the Earthen Mother was the one to send it.
"The storm was a true wonder of nature. Such a show of divine power filled him with pride, and cemented his allegiance to Her" -- From Guidance from the Wicked .
You May Not Rest Now
Iscariot enters the Domain. He focuses his energy on lurking and watching the Domain's sinners, the creatures he is meant to cull. He spends his time soaking up information, and become very knowledgeable, all in the Earthen Mother's name.
Guidance from the Wicked
After trailing it for some time, Iscariot pounces on 'Red ,' believing it to be very knowledgeable about the current layout of the Domain. Though Iscariot was born within the Domain, he has been in distant lands for some time. He asks about the whereabouts of a pack known as Fellfang which appears to have abandoned its territory . Red, when threatened, informed him that Fellfang had "starved." Iscariot believes Fellfang no longer exists.
The Hunted
Hungry, Iscariot tracks a hungry loner and takes his kill by violent force. Taunting Sharguu, he tears at the gray wolf's flesh and leaves him to die, taking the stag into the trees where Sharguu cannot take it.
DOOMED
Iscariot, pitying a lowly wolf who is bold enough to ask him questions, humors her. His patience grows thin as she challenges the Earthen Mother's teachings and twists his words. She was unreceptive of his teachings, even when he was generous enough to use his words, so he resorted to using violence once again and she narrowly escapes.
Beware the Beast - TW: Manipulation of a child
Iscariot meets a young Mountain Lion called Kainda not far from Riverfell's borders. He is thrilled at this prospect, considering her a gift from the Earthen Mother. He gives her the pseudonym Jonquil, and warns her to not trust wolves.
Little Bird (RP) & Little Bird (ART)
Iscariot wanders a little too close to Hintertomb's "border" for Andromeda's comfort. He teases and taunts her, tearing into her beliefs, and (unaware of HT's views on birds) gives her a little nickname. He eventually grows bored, and gives her an ultimatum: run, telling her "friends" what he has told her, or die. She runs.

THE AWAKENING >> Feb 2024

Bitter
Cloaked in snow, Iscariot wanders until he collapses.
God Hates a Coward Comic 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , 5 , 6
The Earthen Mother herself reaches him in a dream. She is unimpressed with him-- no, she despises him. He is a disappointment. He is filth. She charges him with doing better by her: to give THEM cruelty, to give them DREAD, WRATH, and HATE. Under her orders, he will MAKE HELL.

[REDACTED] finds a half-dead cat in the snow and revives him. His patient is in rough shape, ut eventually wakes, disoriented. Iscariot is enraged to find that he has been tainted with such sin as wolven medicine. It is unnatural, it is wicked, and She is already watching him with such doubt, such dread! He storms out, though his health is still poor.

In his wanderings, Iscariot discovers [REDACTED] alone in the snow. His mind is foggy and his limbs weak, but he comes to her anyway, considering her actions to be threats. Despite his wretched state, he growls and threatens her, eventually chasing her away.
Cheeky Little Bastard
Spring rolls around and Iscariot regains his strength. He is powerful again, and rather proud of it. He will not let the Earthen Mother down again. He will CULL.
