Winter months brought on bad memories. The moment of all? When she realized she would never see her sister again. A wolf, who had been her anchor for so long, was gone from her.Two winters ago, Ilse's oldest nephew vanished, and what followed were a series of events which tore her from her family and left her on her own. Her other nephews went off to join their own pack, and Ilse began looking to the North. But when she went to tell her sister the news, she learned that Juni and Noah, too, were going on their own way. Back to the Ferinoir, the pack which they both came from. She couldn't bear to join them-- no. They wouldn't recognize her. She wouldn't want for them to recognize her.
For so long, Ilse had gone off on a journey, only to follow the stars back to the densite of her sister's family. But now, if Ilse were ever to return to this densite, she would not find her family there to greet her.
She wishes so much that things could have been different. But sometimes all she could do was cling onto the memories.
