I'm done.Finally done.
Please understand that, due to the layers of pencil on the paper, my scanner made the section of hair to the left weirdly rippled and it also scanned to lightly, so I had to adjust the darkness until it matched what it looks like in real life.
Seriously, though, I love this. I absolutely love this. I'd venture to say it's the best drawing I've pretty much ever done.
So happy with how it turned out.
I spent probably... eight or nine hours on it-- used .5 mechanical pencils (two of them) and just a regular number 2 pencil on the dark sections of hair and shading around his face.

Ya know, I really dissagree too. Nothing about this dude screams Sam Worthington to me. Personally, when he has long hair, I think he looks like Jake Gyllenhaal in Prince of Persia. But, alas, Jared Leto is waaay more amazing.
You need to see it in person, though, because my scanner just doesn't do it justice.
