Acrylics on 80x50cm canvas. To me this is about how rational thought blocks the perception of the universe as it is. I understand better with my heart and I like to think that I paint better than I speak. It is also about rising and falling, about the universe helping you in the persuit of your dreams.Related content

While I agree with the majority of the posters in the exceptional nature of your work, I am unable, however, to reconcile the meaning you imbue from the imagery before me.
While I get the universe. The energy flowing towards the person, but with the lines curving from the head seemingly leaving towards the right and the circular pattern on top? The image alone could also be taken (as in my case) as the destruction of someone. More like the life force is being siphoned rather than infused.
I use as case in point, the attachment points along the body. The fact that the lines are thicker closer towards the body and get thinner away. Thus giving the impression of a siphoning action rather than the reverse. Perhaps if the lines got brighter as they reached the body? Perhaps if the circular pattern on top were more magnetic field in design some how? Like they were flowing in towards the person in all directions.
I am not posting this to demean your work. I enjoyed viewing it very much. And I understand you didn't ask for a critique, but without your comment, I would not have arrived at the same conclusion.
Please, by all means, keep up the good work! And thanks for sharing your talent with the rest of us!

Thank you for the elaborate comment. For me, the sense of this painting is as follows: we create our own reality, the gates to the universe are inside of us, perception never happens outside the self. We are programmed up to a physical level, our eyes see a familiar face in group of persons, our ears hear noise if not trained to understand like in the case of jazz of heavy metal and so on. So the person in the painting has it's back to the universe, and faces a "screen" created by it's own senses. There are of course a few lines that go beyond the screen, maybe during sleep
