I did a Scottie pic in Β last year contest... and it didn't went that well since I have to deal with other issue at those time. Now, this is a proper job and I added some extra touch.Unlike others, I go on a different pathway and focus on a different connection between Allie and Scott, especially a moment where Scott falters to his weakness and Allie is there to support him.
In the story, Scott lost his father he love dearly due to war. Hence, every time he goes to his dad ("John Wallis" given by Alice)grave yard, he feels weak, something that he doesn't want to show to others.
You may see that all but 1 grave have no name at all. The main reason is to highlight how war doesn't give a damn on who died or not. At the end, you are either alive or dead which the sad reality of war.
Hope you like it, Alice! A different twist in comparison to other people entry but you know me.

well, I need to get the expression nearly perfect to highlight the emotional impact on the characters. If not, then I haven't display enough impact. But i think I got it right.

It's a lovely, yet sad piece. I felt tears swelling up as I looked at it. The elements of grief and comfort blended into one. It's incredible how you captured that.Β

For me, Scottie is more connected via unfortunate events based on the story so I go for that. I could have picked a safer route (happy picute) but I took the risk to go the other route. Not something I do all of the time. But it's worth it.
