since a very major character in buddy's life is no longer canon because that was not my character and i don't involve myself w the character's owner anymore, i'm making two new characters to sort of fill up those gaps ^__^ sort of split the major roles of that one guy into two separate characters.

these two are not completely fleshed out yet buuut i think i did a lot for coming up w this shit in two hours. i was about to go to bed then i was struck with inspiration. it is almost nine in the morning why must this happen to me.

anyways, general idea for tanya, she's a former UEC rebel, probably retired from that when she was 30ish. currently works as a bartender, really loves to garden and read. she acts very formal and serious and she's a bit deadpan, but she really is kind. a lot of her interests are either in expensive things, or more old-fashioned type things. she met buddy while he was still working at seraph research with his security job, and they became friends. and so buddy would frequent the place to chat with her and hear about her experience in the UEC, and when their schedules managed to align, she would hang out with him outside of work, or show him exercises and training stuff, occasionally take him on stupid dangerous fuckass adventures because he needs to be more desensitized to danger and nextbots and all that. and so they're good friends, and stay in contact even while buddy is in the UEC. she was a very positive influence and kinda helped him with some of his cowardliness and anxiety.

which then gets totally ruined by this next guy, nikita. WHICH!! im very uncertain about his like. occupation? i really want to make a trooper but im preeetty sure the UEC and the troopers are totally different groups. hrmmm. and my initial idea was that nikita would be a higher up / superior to buddy in the UEC, but again, i dont think troopers are actually part of that. if not then maaaybe he's some kind of enemy and there's some crazy forbidden romance shit going on but i like the first idea way more. well whatever lets assume maybe he isnt specifically a trooper even though thats what it says in the drawing and he's just of a higher rank in the UEC. he's been a member since he was 20, he's very smart despite seeming like the kind of guy to be kind of stupid. he's super social and acts very very friendly and charming, he likes any sorts of games or video games that involve strategy, and he also enjoys parkour, fitness, and history. and basically the whole idea is that he's buddy's superior in some way, he uses that against buddy. kinda worms his way into a (very unhealthy) relationship with buddy, uses bud's desire for approval and need to feel loved against him, in general he fucking sucks. and tbh i want buddy to be happier these days (making a character purely to harm him seems contradictory but SOMEONE has to be evil towards him in the past) so maaaybe nikita dies or something.. or he gets moved to a different unit. maybe buddy snaps and kills him maybe nikita steps on a fucking landmine a regular survivor placed down i dunno havent thought that far ahead yet i just know buddy does get freed of him eventually and now he has his friends and he's doing better. yaay happy ending
