Description
A more recent image of the almost completed Ceratosaurus.Archosaurs like crocodiles and alligators do not usually exhibit bony coloured osteoderms unless they have suffered a scrape or two - they are covered with pigmented skin. I have chosen to pick out just a few of the ossicles on the face in an ivory colour as a display feature.
