Description
This is a fan art of the origioaly, done my ML Peters. He is "The Shadow". I did this in scratch board for my art class. It took so long to do. I was not surprised that no one else in my class knew who The Shadow was. Most of the kids in my school are idiouts.

The character design reminds me very much of the dark tower series main character Roland. Idk if you heard of "The Dark Tower" but its a good read by Stephen King.

well idk rorshac was pretty ba. XD im glad thay got such a good actor to play him in the movie(rorchac that is). got the same feeling as i did in the comic.

WAtchmen the movie is like watching the second coming of Jesus, but The Shadow adaptaion looks absolutely terrible.

well the movie wasent that bad for the shadow. especially since it came straight off of the radio. and concidering that there is also nothing else as far as film or telovision to compare it too. its not bad. *shrugs*

There were the comic books made by DC. I should knmow, I own a few. Tey got the wrong actor I thought.

hell yes. lol. a friend of mine who is one of those comic wanabes cuz shes read like the watchman and all the new "pop" icon comics. she tried to tell me that teh Justious League was...and get this. she was lived that it was MARVEL! seh was like ill proovit and go on the inter net right now and check. and i laugh and am like "oook. go right ahead" i hate how every creap thinks just cuz they have seen the dark knight they are a comic expert. posers...

I second that motion, one of my friends thought that Watchmen was a Dark Horse Comic. Did a debate today for a report of DC vs. Marvel, I lost, but the audience was biast and it wasn't one of my better performances. Top three superheros have three things in commen; they all exist in different universes, they all don't have "real" superpowers (thats a matter of oppinion), and they all are DC. Can you guess their identity?

First, all of those heros have already been combined into a comic called Trinity, and second, Aquaman is a fruit. And just so we're clear, we are both in agreement that we're geeks for talking about this.

Well, the Shadow is a old hero, so maybe is not popular like euhm..Spiderman or X-man, personally I sat the movie The Shadow and I found it very nice

I'm jealous of your shading skills. I don't have enough patience half the time. It's very well thought out, and your subject reminds me of Hellsing. Alucard.

It is a masterpiece. I really do wish I could shade that well. I don't even have the ability to hide my pen lines. Part of me thinks it could be my scanner.

I thank you again, but, well its not in pen, its scratch art, its consrtuction paper, with a layer of ink on it. You outline youre image, then you scratch away the black with a scrapeing tool. Its hard to do right, but the results are wonderful.
And about youre scanner, you would always see the pen lines, actualy you would see them even more so with a better scanner. If you want to hide them, you could always get a cheap photo editing program, and color over the indiscrepencies.

Oh, I know is was scratch art. I was just saying how much I hate my pens. That's all. I suppose I could try photoshop and see if that doesn't help to make it a little more discreet.
