The emotion is wonderful, the juxtaposition between the subject and her thoughts is great, and that triangular layout - head-thoughts-body - works well. Your work is simple and lovely, as always. Reminds me a bit of Little Apple Dolls... :3

'Course! I'm kinda jealous you can produce wonderful work so quickly, too.

Have you ever thought of making comics? Your figures are so iconic and expressive, and they all have such stories, it would be perfect... plus your style facilitates fast drawing, which is a big help.

And why not? Remember to separate the usual content of comics from the form itself. Your characters have some wonderful stories to tell - why not tell them?

hmmm .. i thought i WAS telling their stories?!

Well, yes. You caught me there. I guess I mean that you could flesh out their stories, instead of just telling them in one image. You can give them whole histories, watch them grow, mature and change over time, become obsessed, become disillusioned, become happy or sad, fall in and out of love... It's also an excellent way to explore the character's relationship with their world in greater depth. I would encourage you to read Scott McCloud's Making Comics - a truly groundbreaking theoretical work. There's nothing else like it. It's also a really well-made comic.

But meh, I can't force you to do something you're not interested it...

I like that this follows from one of your earlier pieces. Will the story continue?
