I say that that would be the most awesome thing I have ever done, and at the moment I am actually trying to make either a Mega Man or Castlevania hack with some programs so now would be a good time to look into something like this. The only thing is that it would probably take me a few months to make something decent, and I would have to edit the overworld, make new dungeons, items, and alot of other stuff. So i will look into it.

Well maybe you can do it in parts, you have links sprite and some of his items down...
