Yes, these are little baby Sphynxes. Part of the old Legends campaign story was that the Sphynxes spawn once in a gazillion years and this time the happy couple (the only known living Andro & Gyno sphynxes) were seperated when the Gynosphynx (female) was captured and hauled off by the Hyena people to act as a spectacular battle beast in the gladiator arena!

Shortly after being displayed for the first time, however, she was captured and hauled off by a wild pack of Criosphynxes, a yucky, unpleasant subbreed of Sphynx that lust after Gynos and use them for .....well, sport.

As the story progressed, the Legends heros (AD&D 2nd Ed) managed to free the Gynosphynx and reunite her with her really irate Androsphynx partner (who couldn't come to rescue her himself because he was magically bound to guard an ancient vault of forbidden knowledge). And so, reunited, they got busy and produced a litter of little baby sphynxes of their own. Awww...

These little suckers, incidently, are supposed to be about the size of volkswagons!
