Quick one! I had a big crush on Jim Lee's Jubilee during the early 90's when I was reading X-Men. Often people pan her as the most "useless" X-Men, but as one of my friends pointed out that's why a lot of Gen-Xers could empathize with her.EDIT (info): I would like to mention since a couple people have pointed out her eye color, in the early 90's colorists colored her eyes blue, and I also thought it was strange because I knew her character was Asian (as a half-Chinese person myself, I paid attention to the phew Asian superheroes that existed!). This was eventually chalked up to "oh well, she's a mutant, lots of mutants have abnormally colored eyes." Eventually it was made standard that her eyes were brown, but not when Jim Lee was drawing her!

When it comes to Jubilee's eyes they went from brown to blue to brown and when they made her a vampire.. red..Β And a few fans even have given her green eyes but it's the blue eyed one that I remember and loved the best so I got no complaints unless it's to complain to Marvel about the mess they made of the X-Men and most if not ALLΒ of their comics .

I have a friend that bought the Avengers years ago, and I'm more of a fan of earlier teams.Β Vaguely remember Jubilee but don't recall her skills.Β The Marvel Universe has changed so much over the years and storylines rewritten that I don't bother reading them anymore.

I preferred the blue myself, made her more vibrant.
But this looks amazing.

Sweet! Love that retro goodness. Really nicely colored and I just adore her face. All I know of X-Men comes from that super old cartoon though, it was my favorite. If I remember correctly the first episode had Rogue and Storm shopping at the mall and then running into Jubilee for the first time there, and then saving her ass from some trouble she caused. I don't know why I just wrote that here, sorry for the nostalgia vomit.

Jubilee, the only one that can wear a yellow coat, blue boots, gloves and shorts, pink shades and top and still look badass
Nice work on Jubes, I enjoyed her in the animated series though I get the feeling she'd seem annoying nowadays. I don't consider he useless though, just a victim of 90's cliches.
Back to the deviation, like your style, the contrast in how her hair and sunglasses are drawn especially.
The light and shadows are my favourite parts, the shadows are so detailed on her clothes and the bags over her shoulder and the light reflected off her glasses and going through her bubblegum bubble, perfect.
I like the subtle hints of rebel in Jubilee's appearance, the navel ring, oversized earrings, bubblegum, short hair. Plus that look in her eye is just killer

one of my favorite x-men characters. Of course I knew them from the 80s and the cartoon.
Now, I read she was a dark vampire and all that stuff and it depressed me. Always the trope to "break and change" female characters...
