Description
Update 2023: Updated colors and style.
Rowan Olivier is one of the main characters of my comic Un-Phased .
The basics:
- His full name is Rowan Cornelius Olivier
- He's 30 years old, 5'11" (180 cm)
- As the only one with money, Rowan works as a traveling merchant and sells enchanted goods and potions
- He doesn't fight much, in fact he likes to talk out of them as much as he can, but when his hand is forced, he uses brute strength
Personality:
There's a reason Rowan is a successful merchant. He's extremely charismatic and is very much a people person who enjoys a good conversation. With his friends and family, Rowan is known to be very helpful and compassionate. If they were at all in danger, he'd put his life on hold to help them out. As a merchant, he's very honest about what he sells and what its worth, and he's very proud of the quality of his merchandise. In turn, he expects the same from other people. He respects honesty and trustworthiness and has no patience for crimes. He will hold you accountable for your misdeeds, even if it's at the detriment of himself. After all, a lesson learned is always worth the effort.
The story so far:
"Lord's damned arm, I've delt with many a messes, but this? Stars are trying to test me here. Bought myself some hired help in the form of Val. Didn't help so much, as a cycle or so later, the twins show up and break my prized scarab. I'm not one to send some kids to prison, so I let them pay off their debt working for me. Apparently, my kindness was a mistake, as it seems I roped myself into protecting the pendants these kids hold for some star-forsaken reason.
"Thought it was an excuse to get out of work, I really did. Hell, perhaps it is and they're just damned persistent. Getting harder to believe it is though."
Fun facts:
- While he can only fluently speak Asilish, he does know how to greet customers in their native tongue
- Has a big love for the arts, and while he doesn't draw, he shows his appreciation through sculpting during the Winter
- Loves animals and has a notebook dedicated to unique encounters
- Always has his noctal quill necklace somewhere on his person, even if you can't see it

Noooooo not the chicken!!! but look at my baby! I love him. He looks so adorable with that little smile and that fuzzy messy curly hair. I love it. I hope he's ok with me touching it! and the little tiny Rowan on the left is so cute! And I see one with his hair as ponytail! I'm surprise that a hair tie can hold that hair xD I also like the sketch in the middle. He looks like he can't understand how dumb the one is he's talking to :'D
he likes artworks? I feel like he might be a good friend for Echaro. Or at least he'd probably like his paintings~

I know, I miss the gal too :'3 But, I couldn't fit her in the story, so instead of being with Rowan, she's with Rowan's oldest brother, so she's not gone for good! :'D
Oh, you're in luck then! Unlike Zak, Rowan loves getting his hair ruffled! It's flattering for him! :3c And oh yeah, I always have the most fun with the sketches X'D Whoever he's talking to in that third one, he's absolutely done with X'D
Ooo, interesting! At the beginning of the story, Echaro doesn't know anyone, so it'll be interesting to see how his relationships with the others are!
Ehehe! Thank you! I'm glad his charisma isn't just me saying he has it X'D And YUP!! It's kinda an exaggerated version of my family in which I'm the only girl of many brothers :'D But we're all very close

Awhhh!! Thank you so much!! Of all my characters, Rowan's backstory mirrors mine the most, so it was easy to write, haha! (except, with me, I am the only sister in a sea of brothers XD ) And oh yeah! It was an accident in the first place, but he couldn't just let them go without some sort of repercussion, especially with an object that expensive broken by people he doesn't know. So it seemed like the best solution, plus he could always use extra hands!!
And That's basically what happened with Val, hahaha! At first, they were just going the same way but when danger was afoot, Val just inserted himself with them XD
