After playing Bioshock Infinite, I really wanted to put together a fan art piece for it. I noticed there weren't too many pieces revolving around the combat in the game, so I decided to do one focusing on that. Booker is using the Undertow Vigor to fend off some Founder soldiers and other enemies!
I titled it "Constants and Variables" in part due to the ending, in addition to how the combat in the game plays out.

your perspective is always nice too look at, perhaps a tutorial for a struggling artist at this area of art?

I'd just try to draw out a basic shape composition via a sketch first. Then layer/refine out an image based on that original composition.

I like how the characters are in your own art style. The colors are vivid and pop out even though they're flat, how do you color in your artwork?

Thanks. This is a vector piece, so the colors are just all fills. This isn't a raster image.

Alright thanks for the info! You see I'm practicing how to color in photoshop and and illustrator. Got any tips to pass on to a student?

Other then just watching youtube tutorials, I'd just say keep using the program. Eventually you'll find ways to use it the way you need to. Also, keep drawing traditionally and just work on good composition.
