Really? Awesome! I hope you enjoyed it(Actually, I didn't know there was a preceding book series either until I bought the artbook for the movie so it looks like we're in the same boat on that one)
I (obviously) agree with your thoughts on Tooth's design. I love how they gave her the appearance of a princess whilst only working with her feathers.

Oh, I most certainly did. I hadn't known what it was about prior to seeing it, but I can say I definitely enjoyed what I saw. Yeah, apparently the movie is a sort of "sequel" to the events of the books, or at least its conception was meant to be that way.

Oh the feathers...the lovely lovely feathers. I just couldn't stop staring at how vibrant and shiny they were. I still can't.

Ooh, ditto. The way the feathers caught the light and made slight shifts in hue had me floored. God bless whoever had a hand in animating, lighting, etc. them
