The coldest day of the year... It like like 10 degrees out.. wow, my hands were shaking as the wind just made it feel like -20.--

10 degrees is spring temperature damnit! It's somewhere around -10 degrees celsius here so you just be quiet! Ok, enough whining and let's move on to the actual photograph. It a (somewhat) cold feeling, and it looks really nice.

very sharp and clean... the homogeneous sky let's the water and the building take the focus, as it should be...

I really think this image can be improved if you captured some of the texture on the poles below the dock. Barnacles and seeweed-y residue and that black bake-like crap they get on there are all good. But yeah. The dock looks so drab. Maybe something to spice it up or something. I don't know. There's something else I don't like mechanically with this picture but I can't put my finger on it. If I think of it I'll get back to you.

I love the softness of the waves as they break on the shore. And the overall tone of the photo is very chilly and grey, almost depressing... perfect choice of a title, "cold wind."

You must have had the shutter speed pretty high if your hands were shaking... I don't see any blur here at all. Great shot, I actually do feel cold, although that may be partially due to the fact that I just got inside
