Take quite some time ago, state park with this lone tree with a bench right next to the water. The grass was perfect.Related content

This is a really great photo. I love the peaceful aura about it. The colours and depth of field create a really majestic scene.
The composition is great. The use of the long frame is very effective. Stretching out the strong horizontal lines, making the lines of the tree contrast perfectly.
The lighting works really well also. It paints a perfect scene. I can imagine myself being there, standing in the cold sea wind, moving my eyes over the entire scene, trying to take in everything I can.

i like this version a lot. the horizon is level and it doesnt look like a widescreen movie before those were petty comeents tho- the content is what realyl counts. thanks anyway

it's so, perfect.
the grass has like a wave effect coming from the right and the shadows are great.
the horizon is such a perfect straight line, and has a beautiful gradient of purple and blue..

Now THAT is a gorgeous shot. A clear, crisp day and the ambience of it is perfect. You can almost feel the breeze looking at this. Reminds me of a favorite spot of mine, a quiet place to think and relax.
Excellent work, goteki. By far, one of my favorite pieces. It's awesome to see you develop like this. We may yet make an artist out of you.
Oh yeah, and it's my newest favorite. I'm probably going to throw it on my desktop, if that illustrates how kick ass this is.
