This was a Christmas present for my brother and for *BrokenMasque because they're cool like that.

Yes, this is Azula, from Avatar: The Last Airbender...with a scar! Read on to find out more.

This is also a submission for my 100 Challenge I just started. It is under "Through the Fire," hence the title.

There is a lot of symbolism in this picture seeing that I also over-exaggerated many of her features for that purpose.

The feathers represent pride and give a primal and war-like sense of her. Her eyelashes, which are over-done give her a more manical and fantastical sense and weigh in on the primal factor more.

And yes...I gave her a scar. Because guess what. Even though Zuko has the "official scar" all visible and such, Azula is very much scarred as well. She has caused much destruction too, so she technically has a scar, too. YEAHHHH DESTRUCTION!!! KILL AANG, YEAHHH!!!

*ahem*

And then I added like, warrior paint and such on her face to represent her primal instincts once again....and blood. Yeah, that too.

Took about 6 hours via photoshop. So yeah, I'm pretty proud of it, although there are many flaws.
