okay to clear everything up for everyone, akira has NEVER approved or endorsed ANY of the dragonball movies ever created EXCEPT this one which he himself authored personally as a 40 year anniversary dedication to shonen jump. Since akira himself actually endorsed and created this movie, it is only right to consider it like it really happened, so therefore tarble is a real mainstream character that happened in the series.

That's not all true, Akira Toriyama did the first character designs for most of the important new character introduced in the movies(Broly,Cooler,Sauzer,Slug...), so though I agree the other movies shouldn't be considered cannonic mostlly because story conflicts with the series, but Toriyama worked for the making of those movies so that way more than approving or endorsing them.
