i used GIMP to get use to my tablet 2 years ago i guess its just a good program for practice.

thats how I learnt to use my drawing tablet, drew pokemon
just keep at it and soon you'll be using it more than your mouse, even on the internet xD

Even on the internet...? I JUST got my tablet yesterday, so I hope I'm doing ok for a beginner! My hand cramps up really easily, though.

And it was an hour to sketch, re sketch, lineart, color, shade.

im a bit of a perfectionist so I always spend too long on an image and then ruin it...
It's not really important to tell how long, unless youre proud of it... but most of the speedpainters I know usually upload the time it took, which often demotivates me more to find that I cant do such excellent pieces of work and it took them like... 20 minutes xD
I'll add you to my watch so I can see how you get along...
