I swear I will never understand why so many people ship Summer with Qrow or why so many fans think that Qrow is Ruby's father. The writers have more than debunked this notion as they have gone on record stating that Taiyang is Ruby's real father and fans still make theories about how Qrow being involved with Summer. Come on guys. have a little bit of faith in what the writers say is true and what isn't.

You tell me. I see people get so defensive that they say things about the writers and voice actors that sometimes aren't even true. Someone tried to argue that the writers adopted the name of Yang's bike originating from the Ship Bumblebee. It was revealed that Yang's bike was that was conceived before the trailers of RWBY were being released. It was a coincidence that the creators and members of the cast openly admitted and somehow fans still get the wrong idea about it

Maybe people just like it and wanna have fun? i don't think its a fact of having faith on what is true or whats not,i think its more a thing of preference. Like food for example,"You can't have pizza with pineapple! Thats wrong!" "But i like it,so why shouldn't I eat it?"

I get that but we hardly know anything about Summer aside from what other characters have said about her. The image that fans are currently building of Summer may not turn out to be what her true persona turns out to be if the writers ever decide to reveal that information to the fans. I can understand if people enjoy hypothetical scenarios and that's totally OK. What I don't get is why fans continue to believe the idea of Qrow being Ruby's dad. Like I said before the writers already debunked this theory and people still go and make theories as if there is any point to it. I mean it's not like there's anything to be gained from it like theorizing the details of Raven's motives or how her so called "Tribe" is tied to the plot. It honestly comes off as an unnecessary plot detail that fans focus on more than should be warranted.
