Unexpected post hm?Well, this one is kinda simple, during a drawing that I was working on, I realized two characters skin tones ended up too similar to each other.. when they are meant to be different, so I went back to redo the color palette entirely to have distinct skin tones yet also have a color palette that works with all of them.
It was a bit challenging, constantly checking values, however at this point I think I did alright.
Juuust gonna take me a while to get used to the colors of the darkest skinned storm.
Now to note: Im not intending to recreate every skintone in the universe lol, rather, I selected 4 to recreate the value of certain main skin tones..
Since the avrions are storms and clouds, they cannot have normal human skin tones, and thus, this is the compromise, making four colors to represent differing shades of skin.
Hopefully now with this, its easier to tell what skin tone an Avrion is, with me not only going harder on the value (From 5% difference to 15 % difference) but also making a color palette to go with the colors and not have super similar or same values.
