A Slightly reworked version of Katrina, i always wanted darker colors for Kat then i did, to represent her cold nature... so i changed it Also added a few extra details to her overall design.

Edit: Im planning to rework her AGAIN, but this time ima just change the picture on this post and call it a day, cause its just a hairstyle change....or i may just redraw this ref entirely, but even then, i may just change the picture to the current one, unless a MAAAJOR change is to happen.

Her colors are dull to represent storm clouds and well...what the clouds look like from the being in the storm (Not literally but you know going through it yourself) but i put a very slight tint of Blue to represent how they form over water...although it hard to see since it looks gray.

Also i decided to leave this one unshaded so you can see her in a simple colored ref-sheet, my shading basically makes it almost impossible to tell the original color.

This is the Humanized version of Hurricane Katrina, a Severe category 5 hurricane that struck New Orleans back in August of 2005.

Due to her destructive and deadly nature i imagined her being cold to the humans.

Backstory: She was an only child of Camille and someone else (i have yet to identify) and lived a normal Cyclosen childhood, but at 12, after her mothers final season before retirement, Camille brought a human child named Maria.

Katrina's Father taught her to never trust the humans so Katrina was quite stoic and cold to Maria, Camille then said that Maria will be a new member of the family as she was inable to find her parents and sister.

Soon Maria was transformed into a Cyclosen and Katrina was forced to live with and protect Maria, but overtime she started to warm up to her eventually even saying that she was the little sister that Katrina never had, and soon started to protect her more then ever before, but this time, by choice. Maria finally was able to break Katrinas cold and stoic shell and find her more Caring side.

But in 2005 she had become the storm that millions know about now, Hurricane Katrina.

Species: Cyclosen (A Humanoid creature that has the abilities and powers of the Cyclones they possess.

Age (Human years): 63

Cyclosen Age: 23

Relationships: None.

Friends: She does not really have 'friends', she only has her besties

Best Friends: Dennis, Rita, Stan, Wilma, Sandy, Maria, and Irma.

Relatives: Camille (Mother), (Father unknown), Katia (Younger Cousin)

Adoptive relatives: Maria (Adoptive younger sister), Margot (Adoptive younger sister)

Extra notes: Katrina also has a hooded cloak to hide from her fans in the Cyclosen kingdom...Cause the fans will most definitely swarm her, wanting an autograph and stuff like that...usual fan stuff, but with Katrina's introverted nature, she can't really handle crowds well, especially if they are all wanting HER attention, so she keeps the cloak to hide her from fans when shes out and about.

Do NOT throw a bag of tortilla chips at her while making the hurricane tortilla joke.....things wont end well. (I got this small story element from Gray.)
