Back when I thought Felix was a villain when he traded all the miraculous to his uncle, I just thought he was just the opposite of Adrien but my instincts always tell me that just because a character would do something terrible doesn’t mean we should quickly judge just yet without a backstory that made them like this. It’s the same in real life when someone does something bad doesn’t mean we should judge them without knowing their childhood or their past.
In Emotion episode, it did almost got me horrified and angry at his idea of erasing all humanity just for freedom is just beyond madness. Even if he cares for Adrien and those he loves, that is not how gain freedom. Living in a world with no one left is not freedom, it’s chaos and misery and mostly close to an apocalypse world. But when he thought he totally erased Marinette, he did have a conscience because if he didn’t, he would have no care at all for the values of life. Which means he was completely misunderstood and doesn’t understand the difference between authorities and oppressors. He’s just a kid and just did not have a proper life at all because of what his father put him through.

Felix was living in fear and hatred because he had no happiness in his childhood. He was afraid of his existence in danger because his uncle has the peacock miraculous and he was not strong enough to face him and the only way to make an exchange is the trade all the miraculous to him but to me it was very drastic of him to do that because not only did he create a bigger monster, he was indirectly responsible to have his uncle lead to his demise of getting cataclysm. And that’s what worries me if Adrien found out from his cousin.

Felix never wanted to hurt his cousin but technically he did not by physically but emotionally and mentally. Getting hurt doesn’t always mean by physically but our emotions can have an impact on our mental state to feel pain. I hope he learns that.

And I hope he doesn’t ever do anything drastic again when it comes to Cerise.
