I respect everyones opinions but wouldn't it be better if humans were tested on beacause some treatments work on animals but not humans!

They test on human. At least, in Holland they do. You got locked up for a week or something, get the medication and they take good care while they look what happens to your body.

I'm against animal testing too, you can't really compare results from one species to another. However, I have to disagree with the fact that the results we get are worth less than the lives of animals. Animal testing is an antiquated method that must be phased out, but you can't ignore the advances made by it in the past. Medicines that either you or your loved ones take probably wouldn't be around if it were for animal testing. It's true, we've got to move on.

Second: Yes I know that when things get personal, principles fade away. But for me it's not enough reason to don't have principles at all. I just think we are not more than a mouse, we are animals too. That's the biggest reason for me to be against animal testing.

The results from animal testing are almost always invalid because they are a different organism and the results cannot be applied to humans. With the advancements we have today in science, there are plenty of other options. Go to [link] they have a lot of information on it.

Well im a Vegan so this is all thumbs up from my end
People say "but if we cant test on animals what can we test on" who says we need to test anything!! diseases and conditions are there for a reason, yeah it is natural to want to beat death, but on a large social view I think that medicine is the MAIN cause for our problems. We have too many people and not enough natural evolution/process of survial of the fittest. People who would natrually die off now survive and pass that defect onto the next generation, people who cant breed now to the magic of science can, and so it passes the trait on. Medicine isnt curing anyone, it is just dooming us all in the end *sigh*

Strange, I don't understand them very well..
I know that everyone has a own view, but there are SO many people who say ''I want to be vegetarian, but my parents don't want it.''.. but everyone has an own will, isn't it? There are not many parents who put the meat in the mouth of their children
So there is a natural egoism or something, what isn't bad (sure not), but what I don't have.

Yeah i was lucky that I stopped living with my mum at the age of 15, she moved to darwin so i stayed with my brother, basically gave me the choice of making my own ideas in life

Mm, that's a stupid&sad story.
In real life it doesn't have anything to do with animal testing.
My hamster died, yesterday. And once I read a story from a girl with a hamster, who seemed to be dead, but who wasn't dead; it was a hibernation.
So I kept the hamster a time in my hand etc. to test or he was dead.
Then I knew he was dead, and I made a picture, not with the intention to make this. But later I examined the pictures on the computer and I create this idea.
So that's the story. (And by the way; now he's buried, so don't think I keep him to take pictures of him or something

I agree I dont think we should test on animals, and i think we should put research in to find other ways of testing products and things. They dont even treat the animals with any respect aswell you can tell in some pictures that they just arent cared for in the least.
