Update 01: finished coloring skin.
Update 02: Finished flat colors.

This was a lot of fun to draw and color. I'm especially happy with the background.

I hid a few puns in the image. One of them is a tattoo on the rex's arm that says "Sue." Sue was the name given to the largest tyrannosaurus specimen, which happened to be female. Another joke that I've replaced in this version was a plate that said "I brake for flesh." I've replaced it with a dinosaur-themed "Hell's angels" logo, and intended to write "Hell's Fossils" under it in red, but it didn't look like it would be noticeable. The second plate says "Apex," which makes reference to T. rex's obvious place in the late cretaceous food chain.

So yah. I'm probably going to make this into a T-shirt, along with Tricerasitter and Ptero-Dad. I'll post the links to that (I'll probably go with Cafepress) when those are set up. This may also become a print.
