Hi Dave,
I took a photo of my wife in B&W. There was some shadow effect but not as I wished for so I darkened the shadows of the grill coming through the door then exaggerated it on the ink drawing and darkened it again on photoshop. It is a long process but I think it works well too.

hi glad you replied
i was thinking hidden images or symbols could be in the shadow
for either a ghostly or iconic feel
maybe a layered transparency in photo shop
just a thought figured you being the inspiration I'd share
your model is beautiful lucky man

Thanks for the suggestion. It is a good idea and I will certainly give it a try.
I am lucky to have a beautiful model as my wife.
I used the same pose for a new submission, added a dragon, helmet, sword and roller skates, then gave it more of a cartoon feel, just for fun.
Hope you like it!

Hi Dave,
I liked your suggestion with the play of shadows so I did so in "The Devil's in the Music"
The angle of the head was difficult I admit and I had trouble with the eyes, not that proficient with PS, still need many hours of work (When do I have the time)
