I wanted to draw Elwen Mora because I’ve love *VyrL 's depictions of her. Elwen is an Efraet (immortal human, sorceress) sensual and strong, a little crazy and mysterious-looking, but also soft and vulnerable at times. From what I've gathered, this character has loved and lost a lot in her life, hence the nostalgic, longing look she sports above.

Pencil shaded and painted over in Photoshop, trying to keep some of the texture.

Did you invent the fabric? It's so realistic! I always have to use reference when painting fabric.

This was done with no references. I'm very proud of it. (not that it is a bad thing to use references, at all. I just like it a lot when I can make it from my imagination) And thanks, I'm glad you like the fabric, it is one of my favorite things to paint. But there are some errors on the folds for sure. It's too stiff in some places, I find. But I still like how it came out.
