I wanted to draw Elwen Mora because Iβve love *VyrL 's depictions of her. Elwen is an Efraet (immortal human, sorceress) sensual and strong, a little crazy and mysterious-looking, but also soft and vulnerable at times. From what I've gathered, this character has loved and lost a lot in her life, hence the nostalgic, longing look she sports above.
Pencil shaded and painted over in Photoshop, trying to keep some of the texture.

I have to say that my favourite aspects of this image are the detailed folds in the sheets, I just don't have the patience for such intricate details which I realize is part of my downfall lol, and I also love the hair. It flows so freely.

i think the underlying pencil toning was a good choice, gives it a nice warm feeling but you can still see the longing in her face, very nice job!
