Whoops! It seems as though Fourstrings is all tangled up in his on, well, strings! And to think, the fight started in his favour, too!

Having chased the veteran villainess Ringmod for over a month, he managed to infiltrate her hideout, and promptly confronted the old harpy! The two had fought before, and though he was promptly defeated during their first combat, Fourstrings had learned what to keep an eye out for. As such, he stayed a safe distance away from the elderly villain, making sure to avoid her motion sickness-inducing ring, and avoiding her blowing cigarette smoke at his face. Indeed, much to his dismay, cigarette smoke greatly jeopardized Fourstrings' fighting capacities, and unfortunately for him, Ringmod had found out about this improbable weakness of his...

As such, the hero kept his distance and made sure time his attacks. And for a time, it seemed to be working in his favour! He even managed to get the fur-clad hag to jump back as he approached. This seemed like the perfect time to catch the criminal with his strings and bring her to justice once and for all!

But, after he'd lined up his shot and was ready to attack, a thick, acrid cloud of smoke hit him head-on, discombobulating him as he launched his bass strings, which instead tangled all around him! But, how?! Ringmod was standing too far to exhale at his face, and to his knowledge, she was no illusionist! However, in the split-second between after his confusion and attempts to analyze, it became quite clear that someone else had joined the fray.

Indeed, a middle-aged woman with frizzy blonde hair wearing a bird-themed white and grey costume had managed to sneak behind him.

"Ah, you've met mein Freundin, White Ibis" mischievously cooed Ringmod. "She has kam all zie way from Everton Heights to discuss business, mein kleiner Junge."

"And I plan to have my fair share of pleasure as well while I'm here" replied the woman in a British accent.

The stranger eagerly brought a long silvery grey cigarette holder to her lips, pulling for a solid second before exhaling a thick plume of smoke at the struggling hero's face once more. The German villainess used this opportunity to unleash her ring's motion sickness-inducing ultrasonic wavelengths at the unlucky young man, making any attempts to escape his predicament futile. Nauseous and disoriented, weakened and wheezing, tangled beyond belief, it seems as though Fourstrings' luck has run completely run out!

Someone should probably tell him he's also standing atop a trap door on top of everything else...

This fun scene brought to you thanks to Doctor-Awkward 's Blunders & Bungles Art Jam! It also features his original character, White Ibis. which has a really cool design! Her pose gave me pause at first, but in the end I think it fits the scene quite well. Drawing Fourstrings getting tangled was also a fun challenge. This is also the first time I use his updated costume!

All in all, a very fun scene to draw for a very fun and inventive art jam.
