looking at this picture you think one thing, then reading the title completely changes it... this is really amazing. i know its odd, but im completely entranced by the all the colors and small details in the floor.
the details are incredible, and they all have a weight to them which i greatly admire. Β the light silkyness of the cape/hood to the rough heavy leather belts and sheath. Β even the metal of the lantern looks like some sort of mythical metal.
love the Caravaggio like lighting and once again, your use of color is absolutely stunning.

I like how it appears to be a twist on the Little Red tale. The appearance of "The Woodsman" is fascinating to me since most portray him as approachable or some hero attacking werewolves in most images I've seen. Also, "Red" looks mature (perhaps 16-19?), and she's come across the Woodsman before even reaching Grandmother's which seems to go with the little poetic description of the image suggesting she's not where she belongs. Nice work! I enjoy the details in the picture, and the fantasy vibe.Β
