Sometimes, I wonder if you do too...

"Before her death, she and I used to sneak out of the house at night and travel to a hill, not far from home and just watch the stars. She was really interested in it. Asking me all these questions about them and all the constellations that painted the night sky. This is the only place I can go, where I still feel she's with me but every time, I go and look down... She's not there anymore... It... still hurts... Truth be told, but I'll survive... I hope..."

A few months after his sister's death, Galaxy locked himself in his room, refusing to see anyone during the day and even skipping a few meals, reluctant to eat. At night, however, he sneaked out of the house and traveled up a lone hill and sat down, gazing upon the lights that was donned upon the night sky. As he felt the cold wind blow upon his face as the night was filled with soft sounds of crickets chirping, he could only wish that she was there beside him, like old times. But to him, it was a wish that could never come true. No matter how hard he tried.

I like to think that Galaxy's sister died when he was around 11-13 (she was around 6-8) and he had the closest relationship with her because of how their older brother acted towards him at that time. I didn't really mean for it to be sad... I guess, my mind was in the mood for something like this. Loss. I also, like to think that while this made Galaxy feel better, it also made him feel... afraid cause he was alone. No one with him, looking at him, it was in this moment he could've joined his sister and that's what frightened him and yet make him feel better. If that makes sense.

Yes, I know this is a bit sad and there's good reason for it. I promise though, I won't be posting that many "negative-feeling" artworks. This was just for me to try and see some character development, in a sense. Also, why am I getting a movie-poster vibe from this?
