So after watching EmpLemon’s video on the YouTube Rewind and YouTube’s abundant problems, see here: youtu.be/cg2stVCrmZ4 , this inspired me to sketch out, almost, everything wrong with YouTube. Now to be frank, I’ve been aware most of these issues like Elsagate or PewDiePie saying the n word, but I wasn’t aware of YouTube’s hypocrisy towards running advertisements on videos talking about the Las Vegas Shooting. Of course I’ve also hated most of the stupid trends on the Rewind like fidget spinners, dabbing, and of course Jake Paul. And the actual content creators suffered the most. Demonetization also played a big part in hurting major content creators who actually put effort into their videos. Then at the end of EmpLemon’s video, he advised us to dislike the Rewind. Honestly, I would have disliked it anyway. Those fidget spinners are getting on my nerves.Related content

Well, YouTube is still good, it just has a multitude of problems. As for the LGBT stuff, yeah, they censored their videos. Why? It’s not advertiser friendly.

I don't really mind the x portrayed by Spongebob thing, but very few users went too far with it by using Sponebob clips to portray something serious, such as ways to die.

Yeah, that’s one of my main issues I have with them. Anyone can take a bunch of spongebob clips, then associate them with anything. That “Ways to Die portrayed by Spongebob” sure doesn’t sound pleasant.

You and many other people seem to rely on YouTube for entertainment. Heck, I’m one of them. So yeah, I agree. YouTube went from broadcasting yourself to broadcasting corporations, over saturated trends, and annoying celebrities.
