i really love this concept. from the second i saw it, i was like
however, i think the effect would make a bigger impact if you'd crop out the sky.
i guess it's all about taste though (:

Really? I'm kinda still dithering about that. MOst of the effective 'gravity' shots like this all have awesome amounts of sky. But then again...
I've got like about 20 of these shots varying from no sky to skysky. *shrugs*

hmm, i'm not sure. i think it's a lot to do with taste, really. i kind of think, though, that the sky draws the viewer's attention away from the conceptual part of the photo.
and maybe the sky would add more to the photo if it had more features (clouds, birds, etc) although that would draw the viewer's attention away even more.
so this isn't a very helpful critique. sorry D:
