Thank you! I was listening to my Last.fm while I was resizing the picture, and that song came on1 I listened, looked at the photo, listened more, looked at the photo again, and decided, "That's perfect! It really all came together with "Pieces of the Sun"

Does your camera have a panorama assist feature? That helps a lot if it does, but the main thing to remember, if it doesn't, is keep the camera level, and overlap each previous frame by 1/3. Use the grid in your view screen if you can. A tripod helps a lot too, if you have one, but you don't really need one unless you're going 180 deg or more. Your transfer software suite that came with your camera should have some sort of panorama maker. I will be happy to help if you have any questions.

I know my point-and-shoot does. I haven't bothered to check on the Nikon since I have a wide angle that normally suits any panoramic need that I could ever want. I'll investigate further one day, I'm sure.
