Description This is another large drawing 1400mm x 900mm with some ink wash etc.
I call it Birth of Zooid ( Zooid a cell capable of living outside the parent organisim )
It's about the redundency of humans, were we just put here as a machine to create the perfect being and once we do will we be fazed out.
I have tried to show the irrelavance of time, woman as giving birth, the industrial age, electronic age, infomation age and now the cloning age.
Will we soon be able to create the perfect being.
Will Arnold realy have to come and save us.
The more I worked on this the more I thought, shit this could happen!

I find drawing very easy. I don't need to think a lot about how only about what so the confidence shows in the work. Where as painting is a lot more demanding and you can get caught up in method a lot more but I am finding as I learn more about painting the same thing is happening there to.
Also with this I had a very clear image in my head before I started and that makes it easier as well.

Stunning surreal work and i love the message. When i was little i read a story about cloning and GM of humans where first next generation was perfect but then it became something else as next generations intelligence increased so did their imagination and the generations to follow changed from human into new forms, got wings and different colours but that is another story...

I like the patterns you are using here, how they bring the composition together. I like how her belly button seems to be connected to something like data stream. Stunning!

You read my work so well Sandra, it is data streaming to feed the unborn on how to live as a perfect being, the umbilical cord and there is more streaming coming down the page, the information age but of corse no one understands it.
This is a big piece of 300gsm cotton paper, I did it for the Dobel prize but did not get in.

Fantastic graphic, the theme reminds me at first at an scene of an early silent movie of Fritz Lang "Metropolis"

I like it, and the thought, that as we become more ans more redundant, I had always clinged to the fact that Men and Women would be needed to create the next generation.

That clinging is now becoming really loose, I mean the fact that they have passed the new legislation, and the fact of human nature, in that if we can do it, we will, it all scares me.

Love the drawing though.

Maybe that is why we are here, to do just that, then we die out naturally, no pain and they take over. We just stop breading, a lot of people don't bread now.
Now your real scard.... he he
The thing that will stop it is if we all love each other, at the moment we are all for ourselves and the govenments here and elsewhere promote that, dob eachother in, no unity which makes us week. Together we stand divided we fall it's all happened before.

Thanks for liking my drawing though.

Bloody oath I'm scared... but I still try not to think about it too much, coz then I end up in this big circle thing and I just end up more messed up in the head than what I first was haha

a question though... when did it happen before?

Hitler is probably the best case you would know about. He brought people together by making them blame the jews, create fear then give them someone to hate and you will control them.
It has been applied countless times in history. Terrorists war on terror! Fear and common enemy.

Ahhh... I understand now. I was thinking big picture kind of thing... like a war against mahcines...where we lose... and the human race is destroyed, then everything is all like machines with ai, reproducing/manufacturing..lol

Nicely done. It makes me reflect if perfection will ever exist in the human race.
