I've been doing really well! Exams are finall coming to an end and summer is about to kick in! I've picked up on my art alot more regularly, drawing every few days and posting weekly hehe which is exciting! I'm really trying to commit and improve my art so it's fun! Almost coming to the end of the year though, so it'll be awesome to see what can come from the year!

Summer?! LOL It's going to be winter for us in a couple months. This is my fave time of year, cold weather, baking and cooking huge meals, beautiful seasonal weather changes, holidays....just everything! Any plans for your time off? Trips? Family time? I have a busy few months coming up. Halloween is a week away and it's a BIG deal for me and my girls. My oldest is going as Gamora from Guardians of the Galaxy and my youngest is going as The Winter Soldier. Then I have Thanksgiving AND my youngest's bday on the same day (which happens often), then Christmas in December, my oldest's bday in January, THEN we have comic con in March.....wears me out just thinking about it! Haha!

Oh, did you get a new job?! I'm glad you're able to finally sort out a schedule and time to draw again, don't ever drop that pen Luna! But i really do understand what you mean. It's so hard to juggle reality and life with art... especially when its purely as a hobby.
Luna, do not worry about being 'behind', I don't expect you to see every single artwork of mine! I appreciate your support so much and the effort to even talk to me, so that is enough! Everybody has a life to deal with and has to find time to even slot in drawing, let alone talking and replying to comments back and forth, so I appreciate that you do so! Similarly though, I've found it alot harder to go on deviantart so frequently as well lately ,but should be okay now with exams over woohoo!
REALLY? YOU LIKE WINTER? But winter is so cooold. SUMMER IS THE BEACH!!! THE ROAD TRIPS! THE FREEDOM!!!!!!!! Winter makes me have permanently runny noses thats why haha. Plus our winter doesn't have snow, its just rainy and muggy zz. I'm not doing much this summer, plan-wise i guess. Maybe a few roadtrips, but just alot of hanging with mates i suppose!
Wow, that is definitely a busy few months! HOW WAS HALLOWEEN!!! It sucks because Halloween in Aus is so unpopular

No, I didn't get a new job, still doing what I've done for the last decade. We are just in a new building, but it's an even further commute for me. I hate it, but I get paid well and it's tough to just find another job. It's not like they just fall into your lap, so you gotta do what works for your situation. It's extremely difficult for me to schedule time to draw....nearly impossible in fact. I just have to sit down and mindlessly sketch something and work on it tiny bits at a time whenever I can. For me, it certainly is a hobby. No way I can make a career out of what I do. And I know it sounds cliche', but I sincerely only draw for my own sanity and pleasure. If someone else happens to like it, that is a bonus for me. 
It is no effort to find time to talk to you and see your work, it is a pleasure, always. I can relate about not being on here as often as I would like. I typically only get on DA at night when my girls are in bed and everything has settled down for the day. And yes, I LOVE winter! We had a brief dusting of snow a few days ago, but nothing to write home about. The temps have been pretty bone chilling though! I just stocked up my house with food to cook for my daughter's birthday and for Thanksgiving. We are having her birthday party the day before Thanksgiving because it's just so hectic to do it all at once. I bake all of my pies the day before, so I guess I'll be baking her cake as well!
Summer is a lot of fun, but the heat is something I can't tolerate. When I was growing up, I had a pool and all of my friends would hang out at my house all summer long, we would ride our bikes and climb trees, walk down to the gas station and buy sodas, meet up at the arcade and blow money on games....good times for sure. But when you get to be my age, summer is pretty boring! haha! Trips are expensive, especially when you have kids, and your friends have their own lives and families. Enjoy your summers when you're young!
Halloween was an absolute blast! We went trick or treating, got tons of candy, saw some amazing decorations and costumes. Then at the end of the night we crashed a yearly Halloween party at this rich couple's house. The whole neighborhood showed up! My oldest won 2nd place in the costume contest for being dressed as Gamora from Guardians of the Galaxy and I hung out with the adults and drank Jaeger shots and warm apple brandy. That sucks that Halloween isn't a big deal in Australia! It is so damn fun! LOL! Told you I was busy all the time.

I was a pointillism artist when I was younger, guess my art has kind of always had that vibe even after I stopped using that technique.
