Question - did you draw this upside down - or merely scan this upside down? From the way her hair is flowing I would say she is lying down on a mat (rather than a raised platform).
Beautifully drawn as usual!

I drew it upside down,...actually, I always move the paper on every angle while drawing. I'll upload the edited one, and I think I'll rotate it 90Β°. It has some kind of vertigo feeling, like on the edge of a building, but over deep water. Download it, and rotate it, and let me know what you think.

Finally got round to downloading the edited one and rotating it. On reflection (no pun intended), I think I like the 180 deg version best, followed by the 90 deg version - not sure why. I like what you've done with the light rippling through the water in the updated version; interested in how you've achieved that effect; it doesn't look like just graphite shading (unless it's very skillful graphite shading) - did you use some form of wash or is it digital manipulation to get that effect? It does make for a contrast in styles though - the lithograph approach to your portraits juxtposed with the smoother rippling wash of the water.

yes, it's a digital manipuleted texture of water
