Description I was debating on whether or not I should post this, but other people have posted their Spore stuff, so...

The Enterprise that I created using the Spore creature demo. I have to say, I'm surprised at what someone can do even with the demo version. Guess that means I have to buy the actual game when I get the money...

NOOOO!! DON'T BUY SPORE!!!
At least... Not yet.

Currently Spore has 2 big issues which make it crap.

#1 - WORLDS WORST DRM ISSUE!!
>.<

#2 - The Solo Single Player Stuff is boring and not many people are giving it good reviews.

The DRM Issue to me is the bigger issue and Electronic Arts are being assholes about it. The single player stuff being a bit boring... It'll probably get better over time and some will enjoy it more than others.

Overall though... The DRM (Digital Rights Management) issue with Spore is sad.

They only let you install the game 3 times and that is it. Uninstalling does not give you back an install. After you've installed it 3 times, regardless of where or when, that is it. You can never install it again without contacting Electronic Arts directing and selling your soul for extra install privledges.

I'm sorry, but if I'm BUYING a product.
I better damn well be able to install it as much as I need.

GOOD DAY!
I SAID GOOD DAY!!!

PS: LOL @ Spore Enterprise Thingy

Well...I already bought Spore, and...I like it

As far as DRM, I only have one computer, and I have no plans to constantly install the game, so I think I'm good.

And on your comment about single player...the only section that I really wasn't impressed with was the tribal stage, it went by too fast. So of the 5 stages in the game, only one was disappointing...I think that's a good deal.

Well, from a programming standpoint there is a lot of cool stuff going on under the hood of Spore. Also, the longer Spore is out, the more patches and updates that appear for it, I'm sure it'll only get better to.

But, when I heard about the DRM issue that really turned me off. And then I read some reviews about single player and it didn't seem like it was shaping up to be a game worthy of having Will Wright's name associated with it. Usually he creates awesomely epic stuff.

At any rate, if I can ever scrounge up the money to buy a new computer I'd probably consider buying it. But as my current computer can't even play Spore on minimum settings... *sigh* It doesn't matter even if I did want to play it.

Anyways... You should post more horrible Spore creatures up here in the future as well. :-D It makes me LOL.
