These are really neat. I am wondering, does the program you are using automatically stop the iteration from infinitely repeating or do you control the time it goes on for? I would also imagine that this kind of thing would take a really long time to render and would take a lot of memory especially with a reflective surface like that. So how much memory does something like this usually take up?

You set the iteration count, then the program runs until its finally rendered. Mandelbulb does have another renderer built in (Monte Carlo) which keeps running until you stop it, but its a very slow process. This image took a couple of hours to render. You can change the amount of cores the program uses to render.

This is for real your best one, looks like a real fish eye photography of a fusion reactor  

Also the chromatic colours with a glimpse of reflections made it look realistic as hell.
