Description

The USS Discovery One from 2001.

Rendered in Lightwave3d, using the edge render feature to create a sort of technical diagram. Fun to do and it really shows off Sean Kennedy's model well.

Awesome. Remember seeing the movie when I was in High School.

Thanks for the trip down memory lane. That was a remarkable film in its day, and - it seemed at the time - an all-too-rare example of cinema science fiction that shows some knowledge of, and respect for, science and technology. And that's another topic. On a technical/render note, edge renders can produce plausible - and very viewable - simulations of drawings. As this one demonstrates.

everyone has to make at least one pixel-art right? I did one for one of my ships a while back.
