Description
Sunjammer model by Nick Stevens.Solar Sail concept powered by the solar winds. Such a simple yet elegant design, probably impractical but it sure looks cool.

There's a beautiful delicacy to this - they remind me of Common Blue butterflies or deep sea jellyfish that emerge at night, loaded with bio-luminescence - beautiful!

Is this solar sail pulling a satellite or a human-boarded spacecraft?

Okay. I couldn't tell the size of the sails. I figured they would be huge because solar sails would need a lot of energy to become viable.

To obtain the thrust of a small rocket engine like the Kestrel (31 kN), it takes 31000 km^2. so I think the sail is too small (sorry for my english, I'm french)
