Pitiful Noise...Mindlessly erasing Players. The Imagination of the pins, dispatches these beings. They gather from emotion, masterless and free, until they come together to...~~~~~~
This contribution is for the 's 100 theme challenge. The theme I chose...is in the title.
For the sake of meeting the-- *needle on record sfx* What's this? A finished deviation on time? The sky will fall and the both poles of the planet will melt completely!
Neku's eye...there is nothing simple I could have done to fix that. As a result, I did just that--nothing~!
Each of them carry pins that allow them to summon a friend to assist in battle. The summoned friend is in accordance to the imagine on said pin (Ex. Neku can summon Beat when in danger for back up and a tsunami offensive). Side quiz, can anyone guess who Rhyme can summon?

Neku Sakuraba:[Psychedelic] Uses a variety of pins to freely adapt to any situation.
Daisukenojo Bito:[Trick Boarder] Keeps foes at bay with a relentless string of swift melee attacks.
Shiki Masaki:[Animation] Uses a series of objects and projectiles to swarm her foes.
Yoshiya Kiryu:[Composer] Harrasses foe with pillars of light and domestic appliances.
Raimu Bito:[Noise Raid] Commands Noise to draw in her foes for a stunning finisher.

OMG, what is this? The TWEWY characters in super awesome outfits? I admit I'm indifferent to Shiki's true self, but you made her look AWESOME in her true form, even better than her underground self, which is very RARE.

About Rhyme's pin: it made sense somehow that Joshua would be her summon, but I can't figure out Shiki's (by the way, I'm really happy you included RG Shiki in this. She really doesn't get enough love in my opinion). I would think it's Neku, but I can't tell if the image on her pin is headphones or a skateboard.

As for Shiki's pin, it contains the image of a skateboard. She also has a pin that can summon Neku, but it's on the other side of the collar.
And yeah, I agree with the bit with RG Shiki. Technically, I didn't have a choice because these are profile views of their older selves, which would automatically mean RG Shiki image. Despite that, I really wanted to include the RG version of her--mainly to see if I could do any justice with an outfit that suited her and didn't look like it belonged on Eri. That was a bit difficult at first, but then...INSPIRATION!!!

That would be a pretty good explanation for Joshua/Yoshiya's older appearance.
The pin makes the most sense as a skateboard. Would Neku's summon pin be headphones then? On the other side of the collar?
I think you did a great job with the outfit! It really looks like something RG Shiki would wear. The rest of the outfits fit nicely too. ^^

Ideas
Since the theme is introduction, how about something that gives the viewer something to relate to? What do you think of when you're told to 'introduce' someone? I know I'd show something like a distinguishing feature or something unique of the character themself, maybe a striking pose that the viewer can remember and when they look back, they'll think "yeah, it's that guy" and you've successfully introduced someone to the viewer.
Composition
Placing the characters slap into the middle is obviously a good job at the focal point: how about strapping down some angles as well? You can put something interesting in there. Anyway!
Colouring
Tip! You can make your picture look a whole lot awesome by colouring in the line art. Say if the base is brown, then use the eyedropper, select the same colour and perhaps make it darker and colour over the line. EG> [link] and [link]
With the shading, I think what you're struggling on is the dynamic.. because you're using a sort of monotone shade for the base colour! You should try adding different colours and blending them together, don't be afraid to experiment. Try not to use the blur tool to blur all your strokes! Try brushstrokes that blend into each other > look at tutorials/reference off artist work
With the background: I think it's good you blurred it so the focal is on the characters, but if you don't need such a big space: crop the canvas.
Anyway! You did a great job on the art - let's see you improve on the colouring.

Ideas
To be honest, I had thought of some unique poses, but the placement of each character would block the view of another, so I kinda scrapped the idea. Now that I have a second opinion on that thought...I'm now thinking that the unique poses would've been a better idea.
Composition
Coloring
Ahh, one of my handicaps; coloring. Several times have I considered lineart coloring before, but I never did like the end result. I shall try out this recommendation (yet again) and see if can get anywhere!
Haha! I was actually trying to use slightly different colors. This time, though, I was using the smudge tool for some parts. It was an experiment/deviation from my usual method of blending brushes. I see that I should've used a bit more brush blending.
I KNEW I should've cropped it, but I didn't 'cause I thought it would screw things up! The cut off from two of the characters was what prevented me from cropping. As for the background, you'ce caught my intention exactly! The main focus is supposed to be the characters, the only way I thought to make that true was to blur the background just enough so that it becomes a secondary point that doesn't hurt the viewer's eyes too much

I loved it very much whilst I was playing it. It was one of the best games I've played in a long while, and the soundtrack was amazing to boot. That was Xmas though, and I had another ton of games to play (such as Chrono Trigger...not finished that either :/). Will get around to doing them at some point soon...have recently bought Zelda 3D and Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom (that I've not even unwrapped). Will get cracking-and love your work
