I'm sorry, but this is taking bases WAY too far.
Not only is it traced from some other artist's drawing, but all a person has to do to make it "their own" is draw some hair and maybe a part of a sleeve. D:>
This totally defeats the purpose of bases, and actually goes against dA's copyrighting rules.

Look around. Tons of bases are referenced from other things. There's a difference between tracing and referencing.
Even now, there's an article on DA about doll base, and I'm willing to bet a lot of the bases used or made were done by referencing things.

Correction Time
That's only the case for bad dollers. Good dollers have to do the detailed outlines, shade the shirt with detail, shade the eyes, outline the hair, create the color spectrum for it so it blends together correctly, and shade the skin(although this is optional)
So your statement only applies to half-ass dollers.
Now you now.
Wanna change it? Dont be against the base, be against the crappy dollers.

And the original purpose of a base is to help design clothing and hair, and since this, like I said, only lets the person using it draw only some hair and almost no clothing, it does defeat the purpose of a base.
