Meh, don't listen to the person who said that it defeats the purpose of a base. A base is whatever you want it to be. I've never once heard that there was a specific set of rules for what a base had to be, and I've been dolling for years.
It's also fine to use outside sources for the base. Plenty of people do it. It's called referencing. At this moment, there's a news article on DA about doll bases...I doubt those people know about the so-called 'rules' of what a base MUSTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT be.
Sorry for replying about an old comment, that just irks the hell out of me. As for the base itself, it's great. I'd be happy to use it. I'm GOING to use it as soon as I get a chance, I already have ideas.
