This base is free for you to use, there is no need to ask me TO use it. Unless it is bolded that it is said to not use, then it is free. (And I\'m pretty sure I\'d never do that unless it was some sort of personal base only for a few people.) If you DO use, credit me. I don\'t care what this is used for, as long as you do not claim the base that was made by me as your own. It is not required that you link back with the finished product, but it would be nice. Have fun and take your damn time.

Yeah, there could be stolen, traced (not bases or such.) and other things, but they just choose to attack bases because that's the easiest. Yeah, well. TRACED BASES ARE ALLOWED. And there's NOTHING they can do about it >:3

Until deviantart states in their rules (and removes the traced base catergory), 'Deviantart does not allowed bases of traced images within its pixel community', I will continue to make those sorts of bases. Original and traced.

Actually, It's not like deviantart ignores the thing about traced bases. They say that Traced Bases are allowed. It's not like they haven't mentioned it and no one knows if it's allowed or not. It. Is. Allowed.
But the haters/trolls suddently goes all like ''OMGGG TRACING IS THEFT :C ALL BASES SHOULD GET TAKEN DOWN !11!!eleven!!one1!''
They should read the FAQs before saying such things.
Someone commented something like ''Your know you're encouraging people to do bad stuff traced is stolen, etc etc'' and it sounded really mean, so I gave the basemaker a compliment instead.

I understand bases made from your own work... And I understand others USING those bases with permission to make THEIR own collaborative work... And I even understand tracing things from established artists and studios to learn without posting them. But I don't understand why you think that this isn't art theft if it's traced from someone else's work without permission. :/

So much hate, what people don't realize is that bases are the ultimate team work, and team work is humanity. altho i'd wish you could've gotten to more extremes of getting the original author's permission, But meh no harm down bet they don't even care xD

The anime is what now? Call me crazy but this looks EXACTLY like Hinamori Amu reaching up to grab Suu's egg away from Tsukiyomi Ikuto in the 3rd episode of Shugo Chara! entitled "Flaky and Fluffy! Leave It To Suu!" I could SWEAR that I know this scene from my favorite anime. However, I could be wrong.

team work does not usually involve completely ripping off and bastardizing the work of one side of the 'team'.
Also, most artists DO care that people make bases out of their art, and it usually effects them quite seriously.
traced base makers (traced only, though. Originals are fine.) are a cancer on the art community and are also putting themselves at a disadvantage. Bases are no way to improve.

Yes yes, That's why going to more extremes to get permissions is what i encourage, I feel bad for the studio, But i don't think they care as long as it's the whole anime or something from the anime getting sold.
Plus there're tons of these bases, Tons of studios' works being made into bases, You'd think they'd do something by now, But nothing for now, I'm sure this artist and anyone else will remove the bases if gotten confronted by the original artist.
Artists however who are independent, I think it affects them seriously, and if you don't get permission, It's outright arttheft.
Oh yes yes, Improving using tracing is very slow, But who are we to say that these base makers want to improve? They maybe only want people to feel happy using their bases. But who are we to say anyway, Each and every artist has traced once, And eventually got rid of it, Why not the current traced base makers now?
