Description A reworking of a well-known fable.

Will include this in a segment of a local magazine I deal with and also will be posting up the 'guest star' strip I did recently.

I've had quite little exposure to those comics actually, but maybe it comes from the TV I watched. Funny you should comment on this as it's the one I got published recently.

That was absolutely brilliant! A great parody! I loved it! Stan is clever! But what will he do now?

Btw, was it difficult thinking up the rhymes? How long did it take you?

Eh? What magazine? You have your work published?

It's still that local advert mag, I put another couple of pages away in exchange for some specific cartoons I drew them. The rhymjes just seemed to come - Stan'll just fly away now. Maybe he'll take up ventriloquism and practise with a 'gottle of geer!'

The airport bit. Very accurate fan/star observation there.

(I laugh at how Gary rudely butts in front of Victor, how they helped him first! Wonder why he didn't say anything.)

Anyway, you know, I had almost forgotten about this fable until I checked out this peice; then it all came flooding back! I used to have a full book of 'em!

Delightful spin on that old children's tale, but the Lonnie short stole the show for me! You know my love for that simple humor. Great job all around!

I turned the original story about-face! Guy's smart, but not as smart as Stan.

You just keep getting better, man. I love the whole rhyming thing, especially how you carried the rhyme on into the characters' speech. Great story!
Sunday strip = priceless.

Love the Sunday Strip - life is never dull with Lonnie around.

And brilliant rhyming story, an' all. I love watching cartoons in verse

I looked up that old story before I did it. In the original, the fox outwits the crow, but that would never do! I also agree with the Sunday strip, with regards to 'being a man' - just be yourself.
